Basic introduction of welding auxiliary equipment
It includes welding energy equipment, welding head and welding control system.
(1) welding energy equipment: it is used to provide the energy required for welding.  Commonly used are all kinds of arc welding power, also called electric welding machine. Its no-load voltage is 60~100 volts, the operating voltage is 25~45 volts, and the output current is 50~1000. In manual arc welding, the arc length often changes and causes the change of welding voltage. In order to stabilize the welding current, the external characteristics of the arc welding power supply should be steep, that is, with the change of the output voltage, the change of the output current should be very small. A flat characteristic power supply can be used in arc welding and submerged arc welding of the melting pole. The output voltage changes very little when the current is changed. Arc welding power supply usually has arc welding transformer, DC arc welding generator and arc welding rectifier. The arc welding transformer provides an alternating current and has a wide application. DC arc welding generator provides DC power, it is more complex in manufacturing, more material and low efficiency. It has the trend of gradually replaced by arc welding rectifier. The arc welding rectifier is a DC arc welding power developed in 1950s, which uses silicon diode or silicon controlled rectifier as a rectifier. A high power transistor arc welding power supply, which is made up of large power transistors in 60s, can obtain high control precision and excellent performance, but the cost is high. The relatively simple resistance welding transformer is the resistance welding transformer. The voltage range is 1~36 volts, and the current is from several thousand to several million. The welding machine used to use this kind of welding energy equipment is called AC resistance welding machine. Other low frequency resistance welder, DC pulse resistance welding machine, capacitive energy storage resistance welding machine and secondary rectifier resistor welding machine

Welding head: its function is to transform the energy output from the welding energy equipment to the welding heat, and send it continuously to the welding material, and at the same time, the machine head moves forward to realize the welding. Electrode holder for manual arc welding, with the melting welding, manual welding shall be continuously sent down to move forward, and the formation of weld. The automatic welding machine is automatically sent to the wire mechanism and the head of the machine moves the head forward. There are two commonly used car type and suspension type head. The welding head of resistance spot welding and convex welding is the electrode and its pressure mechanism, which is used to apply pressure and electricity to the workpiece. Seam welding and transmission mechanism to drive the movement of the workpiece. Static and movable fixture and clamp clamping mechanism are required for welding, as well as mobile fixture welding equipment and top forging mechanism.
(3) welding control system: its function is to control the whole welding process, including control of welding procedures and welding parameters. The general AC arc welder has no control system. Electronic circuits, digital circuits and microprocessors for high efficiency or precision welding machines
